We asked you for your favorite places to get a cold treat in Logan and then took our Mandrill mascot with us to check them out for ourselves.

Aggie Ice Cream

With ultra tasty flavors, and lots of variety- we’ve got to start with the best right? Located in the Nutrition, Dietetics, and Food Sciences building on the East side of USU campus, Aggie Ice Cream is a local hotspot for students and locals alike. Pictured here is the famous “Aggie Blue Mint,” but if you like chocolate and berries, you’ll love the new 2017 Flavor: “True Aggie Night!”

The Bluebird

Steeped in nostalgia and nestled in the heart of historic downtown Logan, The Bluebird is a Logan “can’t miss.” This classic restaurant houses an old fashioned soda bar where you can watch your waiter make your soda or shake by hand. Don’t forget to check out their famous, hand dipped chocolates while you’re there!

This locally owned frozen yogurt shop is conveniently attached to a clothing consignment shop, so you can sit and enjoy your treat or shop at the same time! With a variety of flavors (some of which are seasonal) this spot is an all around favorite.

Daysie’s Ice

With a long list of flavors, wide range of sizes and toppings, Daysie’s will keep you coming back for more. Don’t forget to ask for a punch card for a free shaved ice.

Macey’s Kong Cone

If you’re looking for a cheap but HUGE cold treat, check out the soft serve at Macey’s. While they do have smaller $1 cones you’ll probably want to try the Kong Cone. Sometimes as large as a 12” tall this cone is sure to cool you down in the summer heat.
