It’s a long weekend, and you don’t want to stay in Logan. So, where are you going to go?
You could enjoy a couple days in Salt Lake City. You could shop at City Creek, enjoy some nice hikes, hang out at Red Butte Gardens, watch a Jazz game, a Bee’s game or a Real Salt Lake game. You can enjoy some fine restaurants and you’re guaranteed to have a nice time.
Or, you could take advantage of some other nice alternatives.
Yellowstone National Park
About four hours north of Logan, Yellowstone National Park is always worth the trip. You can go into the park and view Old Faithful Geyser, Artist Paint Pots, Yellowstone Lake and the abundance of wildlife living in the area. Or, you can hang out in West Yellowstone, Montana and enjoy plays at the Playmill Theatre, bargain shopping at the Yellowstone Outlet Store or eating homemade fudge from the Rustic Candy Shop. You can’t go wrong no matter what you choose.
Two hours south of Logan, Park City always provides a fun weekend getaway. You can shop and enjoy fine dining. You can go hiking, enjoy the alpine slide, alpine coaster or the zip line, and you can enjoy incredible skiing and snowboarding during the winter months.
From one end of the state to the other, in St. George you’ll enjoy red rocks and warm sun. Five hours away, a trip to St. George provides you with warm weather and fun hiking and mountain biking trails. With Snow Canyon State Park and Zion National Park nearby, you can enjoy majestic views and waterfalls that will take your breath away.
Just an hour away, Bear Lake is a fun weekend retreat. Enjoy the lake, the sun, famous raspberry shakes, and enjoy the scenic drive through the canyon. If you’re looking to just relax, Bear Lake is a great place to do just that.
