Megan Leah Bagley earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Utah State University in 2005. Embarking on her teaching journey, Megan dedicated herself to teaching elementary school students in the Granite and Davis School Districts for five years. Eager to enhance her expertise, she pursued a Master's Degree in Education and an ESL endorsement while actively teaching. Upon returning to Logan, Utah, Megan contributed to Utah State University as a teaching assistant which led to her role as the primary instructor for ELED 4150: Assessment and Differentiation across the Curriculum for the next five years. Recognizing her passion for guiding aspiring educators and researching effective teaching practices, Megan began her pursuit of a doctoral degree in 2021 at Utah State University, specializing in literacy development and instruction. She received a graduate assistantship which provided her the opportunity to teach ELED 4042: Reading Assessment and Intervention. Megan is devoted to advancing the field of effective literacy instruction for both prospective educators and the academic community.
