Ankit Gautam is a second-year graduate student in the Mechanical Engineering PhD program at Utah State University, and a member of the Experimental Fluid Dynamic Lab with Dr. Tim Berk as his mentor. He received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Tribhuvan University in 2017 and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Tribhuvan University in 2021. His research interests include fluid dynamics, with a specific focus on turbulence and shear flow. He is currently investigating the dynamics of inertial particles interacting with turbulence and gravity. Alongside his academic endeavors, he loves to talk about history, religion, psychology, and astrology.
