Graduate Student Council
The Graduate Student Council is comprised of one graduate student representative from each of the colleges on campus, one to two statewide graduate student representatives, the Graduate Studies Senator, and the Graduate Studies Director. The council meets monthly throughout the school year to discuss graduate student concerns, review and promote resources available to graduate students, increase sense of community among graduate students, and help improve campus climate and graduate student well-being.
Graduate Council Members
The Graduate Studies Senator represents all USU graduate students on the USUSA Academic Senate and Executive Council and chairs two graduate scholarships: the Graduate Research and Creative Opportunity (GRCO) and the Graduate Enhancement Award (GEA).
If you’d like to get involved in volunteering, please email the Graduate Senator or Graduate Director or get in touch with your college representative. You can also reach out to the Graduate Senator via MyVoice on the right side of the MyUSU Portal.
You are encouraged to contact your college representative, the senator, or the director if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas regarding events, programs, requirements, etc.
