Kelly Bradbury

Kelly Bradbury is a Professional Practice Associate Professor in the Dept. of Geosciences and an affiliated faculty member within the Kinesiology and Health Science’s Yoga minor studies program. Prior to joining USU faculty, Kelly was employed as an independent geoscience consultant for ~ 10 years. Kelly holds a BS in Geology from Western Michigan University, 1994; an MS in Hydrogeology-Structural Geology from USU, 1999; and a PhD in Structural Geology from USU, 2012. Kelly has been a primary mentor or co-advisor for 3 graduate students and has served on numerous graduate committees. Kelly also serves as the Graduate Program Coordinator for the Dept. of Geosciences and teaches a Graduate Onboarding Course and Undergraduate courses including Applied Geoscience Techniques, Environmental Geoscience, and Yoga and Nature. Originally from Michigan, Kelly has lived in Cache Valley for ~ 30 years. She enjoys spending time with her family, including dogs, cats, and ducks, gardening, being in the mountains, and serving as a volunteer with CAPSA, USU’s Beaver Ecology and Relocation Collaborative, and Bear River Land Conservancy. She is dedicated to using her knowledge of Earth systems towards land and water conservation and the restoration of ecosystems for the health of all beings.
