What is Degree Works Used For?
- Degree Works is an academic planning and advising tool used by USU to help students track their progress toward degree completion. It provides a visual representation of a student's academic record, showing completed courses, remaining requirements.
- Degree Audits: Students can see how their completed courses apply to their degree requirements.
- Program of Study: It allows students/GPCs to enter the student’s future courses and visualize how those fit into their degree path, therefore providing a Program of Study that can be submitted to SGS.
- It also allows students to make informed decisions about course selection and degree progression.
- All Programs of Study must be completed through Degree Works.
- USU utilizes Degree Works to automatically post earned credentials to student transcripts once all final grades have been submitted and program requirements are met (100% complete).
