In-Person Orientation

Students will hear from faculty, staff, and the Vice Provost of Graduate Studies on how to make the best of their time in graduate school. The in-person session will include light breakfast foods, lunch, and cross-disciplinary networking opportunities.

8:30am - 9:30am | Check-in & Networking | Light Refreshments Provided | All students in attendance will receive a welcome bag with a USU Graduate School t-shirt and other swag.

9:30am - 10:00am | Main Session | Key Information for Graduate Students

10:00am - 11:30am | Poster Sessions with Campus Resources, Community Resources, and Local Businesses. Stamp Book Activity & Networking.

Online Orientation Course
This orientation provides an overview of graduate education at USU, a checklist for new students, grad school best practices, and campus resources. Students are encouraged to complete all the modules before the beginning of the semester, but all materials will remain accessible throughout their time at USU. Students should contact their Graduate Program Coordinator (GPC) with any questions.
