Degree Plan – Master's Plan C
Master’s Professional/Plan C Requirements
- A Plan C option typically includes a culminating creative or integrative experience and is a non-thesis or Plan B program.
- Plan C students may be required to enroll in a course or seminar on research methods, but thesis credits are not accepted on a Program of Study or applied towards a degree.
Please review the Master’s Steps to Degree Completion & Graduation page for an overview of Master’s degree requirements.
NOTE: Due to the variability of each graduate degree, a program may have additional steps, forms or specific requirements not listed below. Students should contact their Graduate Program Coordinator to make sure they are aware of all program requirements, required forms, timelines, and for official degree completion guidance.
By the End of the Second Semester
NOTE: Professional/Plan C students should ask their department whether a Supervisory Committee Approval (SCAF) form is required. If it is determined that a Plan C student needs a Supervisory Committee, then the student will need to read through the information and steps on the following page.
